The Lah-De-Dahs and Nationals

Club Member Name

The Lah-De-Dah Base Ball Club
The National Base Ball Club

Location

Dearborn, Michigan

Year Established

Nationals - 2003

The modern Lah-De-Dahs are based on an actual amateur base ball club which played in Waterford, Michigan in the 1880s. Existence of the team was discovered while doing research on the J.R. Jones General Store which was located in the same city.

A second club has been established, The National BBC of Greenfield Village. The Nationals are based on a team from Parma, MI, also known as the Nationals, that competed at the 1867 World’s Tournament of Base Ball in Detroit.
