Bay Area Vintage Base Ball

Club Member Name

Bay Area Vintage Base Ball

Location

San Francisco Bay Area, California

Year Established

2005 (Inaugural Season)

Bay Area Vintage Base Ball (BAVBB) has been established as a vintage league playing by the rules of 1886. Currently with three teams and expanding to 6 in 2006, we hope to offer all interested players age 18-50 to play ball the way it was before $50M shoe contracts, millionaire players, high egos, and luxury amentities.

Playing 9 to a side, our teams have players from all over the Bay Area, but primarily in the South Bay. By the end of the season we hope to also have teams in San Francisco, the East Bay, and possibly Stocton. We use 50oz bats, full leather 1886 gloves, and play a competitive but FUN style. No experience necessary.
