The present day Brooklyn Atlantic Base Ball Club was established in early 1997, and began play on May 11, 1997. The current club generally plays by the rules of 1864 when the 'bound' game was in effect, and by the rules of 1866 when the 'fly' game was played. They are ever prepared to play the rules of any era.
