The former home of university benefactors, Alfred G. and Matilda Dodge Wilson, the 110-room Tudor Mansion was built 1926-1929 at a cost of $4 million. It is renowned for its craftsmanship, exquisite detailing and grand scale. Its 80,000 square feet has carefully preserved original furnishings and art, reflecting the lavish lifestyles of the American industrialists of the early 20th century. Meadow Brook Hall also serves as a laboratory for OU students studying history, art history and other disciplines. Meadow Brook Hall is located off the I-75 Freeway.
